What Was That All About? (Post 29)

So, people are doing retrospective year-end posts. That makes sense, what with it being the end of the year, so I guess I will do the same. But with rather less "New Media," which I still don't even know what that is.

Anyway, it's been quite a year. There have been so many great, stand-out moments that I feel like it has been one of our best ever. But, at the same time, there have been a lot of really bad, stressful times, too. So, in other ways, it has been one of our worst.

I don't want to get all zen or anything, but I guess what I am trying to say is it's clear that for every "Time After Time" there is a "She Bop."

So here's my year in review:

Time After Time: Mac growing up and thriving at his great pre-pre-school.
She Bop: Mac refusing to go to sleep and making bedtime an hour-long ritual, usually for KC.

Time After Time: Shef learning to love reading.
She Bop: Shef learning about the F word and how to spell it.

Time After Time: KC pioneering a blended curriculum (look at me typing words that I don't really understand and just hoping they make sense) and getting an award for being an awesome teacher.
She Bop: KC working a lot.

Time After Time: Starting my new job.
She Bop: Leaving my old job.

Time After Time: Moving to a new house.
She Bop: STILL SELLING OUR OLD HOUSE!!!!!!!!!

Time After Time: "Uncle Bob."
She Bop: The Yankees.

Time After Time: The Vikings.
She Bop: The Vikings.

And that's pretty much it.

Here's to a great 2011 for you and yours, with a lot more "Time After Time"s then "She Bop"s

  3. Wow! I don't think I would have ever thought of "Time after Time" and "She Bop". What's the inspiration?

  4. I went as Cyndi one Halloween. Dobby made a bigger hit as my guitar man. I think I see why my C.L. was only mediocre. Nice blogging, Dan
